That's exactly what Dreamfall and TLJ did to me so well, and that's what I was waiting for since the release of Book 1 back in October 2014. BUT in book 4, I finally got the feeling the story's quality is back to the core, from the 10th chapter and on the plot got more exciting, moving, entertaining, and filled me with emotions. It is a little sad for me the Chapters became a lot more like a walking simulator with some straightforward puzzles along the way and conversations to connect the events. The entire series was always based on story more than anything, and while I did enjoy to some extent of book 1 and 2, and meeehed a little about book 3, the 4th book surprised me after a weak beginning, and became the best portion in the series so far. But here I finally got what I was looking for, STORY. It's not perfect, it never was, and never even felt perfect for me, like Dreamfall and TLJ did.
